Banhez Mezcal is more than a spirit—it's a legacy. Owned & operated by the families of the U.P.A.D.E.C co-op in Ejutla, Oaxaca, every bottle represents generations of tradition, hard work, and resilience.

Francisco grew up witnessing the struggles of mezcaleros, often forced to leave their families to survive. He believed in a different future—one where families could stay together, thrive together, and craft mezcal together.

As a regional whiskey of the southwest Smokeye Hill proudly features blue corn in the mash bill. This heirloom grain is renowned for its sweet, floral & nutty flavor.

La Venenosa Raicilla Sierra Occidental:

Raicilla has been produced for over 500 years in the Mexican state of Jalisco and made with different types of agave. Raicilla has an amazing spectrum of flavor and history.

Origen Raiz Chacaleño Mezcal:

This mezcal is made with maguey Chacaleño (Agave angustifolia) in Durango, Mexico.

Your ticket includes a welcome drink, complementary samples of unique mezcal plus a great bottle of Mezcal to take home. Each bottle has a normal retail value between $85 and $175. It's the perfect way to learn about this unique spirit while enjoying a fun and interactive holiday swap.

Our partner Compa Spirits has curated a collection of gift-wrapped bottles: ancestral production, small batch, unique agaves, exclusive batches for you to learn about. Each attendee will head home with a deeper understanding of place, plant and production of mezcal.

When you arrive, we will have a mezcal based welcome cocktail, with a number on the bottom. This number will determine the order in which you select your bottle of mezcal. As each bottle is unwrapped we'll dive into its story, learning about the maestro or maestra behind it, its varietal, production methods, and other interesting details that make each bottle special. Then the next person picks and the excitement heats up as they can choose your opened bottle or select from the wrap pile. Each bottle can only be stolen twice before its officially claimed. As some say you don't choose your mezcal, your mezcal chooses you.
